| Comments: | Audrey, Les and I were talking the other night about the wonderful 70th birthday surprize party she did for me. it was one the high lights of my life. Just to make it to 70 and have 62 friends and family show up to celebrate my life on a holiday was something real special. You would have been so proude of Leslie, she did a fantastic job. She and I were saying, what it would have been like if you had been there. We laughed and laughed about how special your present would have added to that grand time. We love you and miss you and wait for that day when we can see you again. love, dad |

Christmas eve 2004. mom and I had a great day, beautiful church service, sweet movie, took gifts to some of our great neigbhors. sat by the fire and had a baileys while watching a Christmas musical dedicated to our wonderful service men and women. over all it's been a good year. lost some friends and our Charlie boy. I hated to see him suffer so much. but I knew you would be there waiting for him, to guide him home.we still miss you like crazy and wish we could still spend Christmas with you like we use to do. but we still have those great memories about you and one of your favor times of the year. until we meet again, love, mom and dad MERRY CHRISTMAS |

| Comments: | Saw Audrey's pic in the paper the other day and noticed the website. What a great memorial tribute. Audrey and I were the same age and "second generation" cousins but I do not remember getting to meet her personally. I do have great memories about Uncle Alva and Aunt Cassie and the rest of the Clear Creek Rutherfords. Thanks to the website I feel like I can get to know her a little. | Comments: | Audrey was a very close friend to me, she talked me thru many bad turmoils from being a drummer in a strange land at shelter studios and showing up to school with an hours sleep. She defended me against many whom were uptight about me and my talent and at the same time said to me to push even harder to open doors. Her husband had to be one of the lucky ones to had the privledge to share life with her. She was "top shelf, one of a kind". |

| Comments: | Dear Family of Audrey, I had heard of Audrey's passing only about a year ago, but it wasn't until today that I saw the paper and was able to go to the website to find out more. I only knew Audrey a short time in high school, but everyone thought she was so beautiful and happy. I enjoyed all of the pictures and comments I have read about her life. I only wish she could have spent more time on earth. But through your website you have and will continue to touch people's life. I would like to thank Audrey for the one vote I received at our 10-year high school reunion for "Most Changed". When I asked her why she voted for me she said, "I really only knew you as this basketball player, but tonight I saw you as this gorgeous woman!" Audrey, thank you for making me feel so good that night and if you don't already know I finally got married to a great guy and have two children, Drew and Lindsay. I am wanting to have another reunion with you...this time I know it will be even better than the first! | Comments: | Hey Audrey, went to a funeral today. A young women [44] set behind us in Church. Had their first child about a year ago.It's still hard for me to understand why the good ones leave at so young of an age. I guess Father needed another one like you. I can't say that I blame Him. I guess I am a little envius of you guys, you made it big time and we are still stuggling to get there. We'll make it.
