It seems our lives were meant to be intertwined, my working overseas with your family and realizing that Steve and I had met years back. It has been almost three years since we last talked yet the memory of your laugh and insanely indepenent ways is still as fresh as it was then. So much has changed since you left, the world is no longer as innocent nor are the ones left behind. Your children have inherited a world that will test them far beyound anything that we faced, yet because of you and the prparation you provided, they will survive and prosper. Steve is older now, the years evident in his face, yet the love he has for you still evident in both his eyes and his voice. As for me, life has changed all that I believed in, yet I know that you have gone to prepare a better place for all that met you. | Comments: | So much time has lapsed since Audrey's
untimely passing. But, I can still see her from my kitchen window draped
with early morning sunshine, drinking a cup of coffee and playing with
her flowers and fish pond. She loved being on her patio so much. She
loved life so much! Today, Steve, Ed and I and anyone who will join us, love to sit on Audrey's patio to ponder life, the world around us great and small. We to laugh, love and share precious moments in this hectic world. Audrey is missed very much! We still shed tears thinking about her missing presence. But, life must go on... and I am confident she is happy! I am so thankful she was a growing young Christian when she went home. I remember her asking me so many spiritual questions about building one's faith and our discussions of how it has changed her life. Now I reflect how we sometimes take this life for granted thinking we will live forever only to unexpectantly find ourselves face to face with our Lord God! Our how sweet it was to know Audrey is with Him now! So very happy! It is us who painfully live each day without her to share our days. To absorb her energy. The Lord knows the day we come into this world and He knows the day we are to come home. We only wish we knew when and where so we could be prepared. Thank God Audrey was prepared to meet Him. To Steve, Audrey's great white knight, who stepped out of his comfort zone to fight the worldly fight as Audrey would have done for him and to also to be a benefit of others who follow in Audrey's footsteps. Steve should stand proud of his efforts and find peace with himself. He should keep his head high, love his children for both himself and Audrey and to meet each day of this life with the enthusiasm Audrey lived each day. Guide you son and keep him on the in the faithful path Audrey would have wanted him to follow. She was on that track, follow her, love her and love your new venue of life. My prayer for you and your family is to have the Grace of God indwell you to guide you and keep you each day. That His becking call to you be heeded with a humble spirit and learn His important lessons in this life. How these lessons can be of a blessing to you.
